# FOX HOOD

For nearly eight centuries, one <mark style="color:$warning;">fox</mark> has travelled through the stories of medieval Europe. He first appeared in the Roman *de Renart*, then became Reynard the <mark style="color:$warning;">Fox</mark> as the stories crossed borders, languages, kingdoms and generations. Clever enough to outwit wolves, kings and anyone else who mistook power for intelligence.

* Reynard was never the largest creature in the forest.
* He wasn't the strongest.
* He wasn't the fastest.

His advantage was something less obvious and far more difficult to take from him:

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">HIS Adaptability.</mark>

He could read the situation, understand the players and find a way through when everyone else believed there was none.

* *He was not a perfect hero either.*

Reynard could be selfish, mischievous and dishonest. Sometimes he helped others. Sometimes he helped himself. That contradiction was part of what made him endure and emerge on the <mark style="color:$success;">RobinhoodChain</mark>.

&#x20;He wasn't remembered because he was good.

&#x20;He was remembered because he was clever, unpredictable and impossible to keep down.
